What is the best thing about working at CyberCube?
The best thing about working at CyberCube is easily the amount of flexibility you have. You have the ability to plan your personal life as well as your work life, and it's a great work-life balance that they offer you here. I think that's by far the most outstanding quality.
What has surprised you the most about working at CyberCube?
Obviously, it was a steep learning curve, having never worked in cyber catastrophe modeling of the sort before. But I think the most fantastic thing about working here is just the competence of people and how everyone has this attitude of intellectual humility. They're ready to learn, they're ready to soak up as much as they can from their clients and whoever gives them feedback. It's a genuine interest in becoming better as a company.
What do you hope to accomplish at CyberCube?
The best thing about working at CyberCube is my mentors. They are great mentors and really knowledgeable. By the time I leave CyberCube, I'd like to absorb as much knowledge from them as I can, and I'd also like to qualify as an actuary because, as I said, it gives you great work-life balance, which gives you the ability to study for your exams, give it your all, and perform at your best.
What advice would you give to new CyberCubers?
I would say at the beginning it can be a bit overwhelming because there's so much stuff that you probably haven't seen before. The cyber market is really niche and just upcoming now. So take it one day at a time. You're not expected to know everything off the bat. Everyone has their journey in understanding this niche.
