What is the best thing about working at CyberCube?
The best thing about working at CyberCube is certainly the people. There are so many talented individuals who are genuinely interested and work hard to solve tough problems. It has been really great working with all of these people.
What has surprised you most about working at CyberCube?
One of the most interesting and surprising things is how different the insurance industry is from the cybersecurity industry. Cybersecurity focuses on the most recent attacks and new threats, whereas the insurance industry looks at trends and historical perspectives of the same problems, which is very fascinating.
What do you hope to accomplish in your role?
In my current role as Director of Data Science, I oversee two teams focusing on data science and data collection. I hope to use the huge amount of data we collect and combine it with advancements in AI to empower our users. The goal is to help them make the most use of the data, providing more predictive and informed insights for better decision-making.
What advice would you give to new CyberCubers?
The advice I’d give to new CyberCubers is to be curious. It’s a fascinating field with people from diverse backgrounds. Be ready to get out of your comfort zone and enjoy the experience while you can.
