My name is Carly Cummings, and I am a Product Marketing Manager.
I've been at CyberCube for just over a year.

What is the best thing about working at CyberCube?

I feel like I have found my fit at CyberCube. From the very moment I began, I felt like I was with my people.
I love the ability to work with so many different kinds of people across the organization.
I really appreciate that the organization has a very flat structure.
I can reach out to anyone on any team, no matter their position, and they will have a conversation with me, and we can solve a problem together.

What has surprised you most about working at CyberCube?

What has surprised me the most about working at CyberCube is the creativity involved in my work.
You would think that cyber insurance is a very dry industry, but it's not. It's actually very dynamic and exciting.
We come across unique problems to solve every day, and we can be innovative in the way we communicate and solve those problems.

What do you hope to accomplish at CyberCube?

I hope to accomplish the best work of my career, just as the company’s mission encourages.
I feel like I am set up in a space where I can do the best work possible.
I also hope to deepen my education in the cyber insurance industry. Coming from a background in commercial and personal insurance, I have a solid foundation, but cyber is a different animal—it’s always new and changing.
The industry is young and dynamic, and I feel like I have the incredible ability to grow, both personally and professionally.

What advice would you give to new CyberCubers?

The advice I would give to new CyberCubers is to reach out to as many people as possible in the company and start conversations as soon as you can.
The wealth of information within our teams is just incredible. The more people you talk to and work with, the better.
Take your personal viewpoints and experiences—whether from insurance, cyber, or data analytics—and communicate them as quickly as possible with other teams.
Everybody is very open and willing to hear what you have to say, and everyone is ready to work together.
